On June 10, with the last anchor chain locked and fixed, Asia's first cylindrical floating production, storage and unloading device "Haikui No. 1" completed offshore installation and was accurately placed in Liuhua Oilfield in the Pearl River Mouth Basin. This is the first time in China to carry out offshore tieback of cylindrical marine equipment, laying the foundation for the commissioning of my country's first deepwater oilfield secondary development project within this year.
Looking at the size, "Haikui 1" is composed of nearly 600000 parts, with a total weight of 37000 tons and a height of nearly 30 floors. Looking at the environment, the sea area where "Haikui 1" is located is about 324 meters deep, with changeable wind directions and frequent internal waves. How can this behemoth take root in deep water and operate continuously at sea for 15 years without returning to dock?
There is a "fixed sea god needle. The project team adopts multi-point mooring method for installation. The 12 anchor legs are divided into 3 groups with 4 in each group, providing stable mooring force from the northeast, southeast and northwest directions, which can resist super typhoon.
"We have installed 12 sets of deep-water suction anchors independently designed and built by our country on the seabed in advance, and connected them by 12 mooring anchor legs composed of' water buoy polyester cable in anchor chain'. The single anchor leg is 2570 meters long and the breaking load is 2300 tons, which is equivalent to the weight of 1500 family cars." Wang Huoping, deputy general manager of the Liuhua Oilfield Development Project of CNOOC Shenzhen Branch, introduced.
There are "three-dimensional simulation" support. Wang Hui, deputy general manager of the general contracting project of Liuhua Oilfield of CNOOC, said that the project team adopted the method of "three-ship positioning and one-ship tieback" to put into operation a 3000-meter-class deep-water multifunctional engineering ship, applied two sets of positioning systems under water and surface, and displayed the configuration of underwater mooring cable chain through digital three-dimensional simulation to ensure the efficient completion of offshore tieback, and the operation efficiency and tieback accuracy reaching the international advanced level.
